METHOD & TERMS


The Siegrist property will be sold in (2) individual tracts. Tract 1 will be sold first for a lump sum total dollar amount. Tract 2 will be sold next on a price per acre basis based on the advertised and taxable acres. The tracts will NOT be offered in their entirety at the conclusion of the auction.

Immediately following the auction, the successful buyer(s) will be required to sign a real estate sales contract and pay ten percent (10%) of the purchase price as a non-refundable down payment which will be held in escrow until closing. The balance of the purchase price will be due at closing in approximately 30 days on or about May 18, 2026 upon delivery of a merchantable abstract and Deed. The Real Estate Taxes will be prorated to the date of closing. Full possession will be given at the time of closing on Tracts 1 & 2. Tract 2 sells with full farming rights for the 2026 crop year. Early possession with be granted for tillage purposes with proof of liability insurance.

Subject to the Iowa Septic System Law, the system on Tract 1 required upgrading which has been completed. Any future septic system testing or upgrades will be at the buyer’s expense.
